Mid Century British Shoe Shine Box

An excellent piece of Bristol history. The Temple shoe shine box was patented by Leslie Alfred Temple in 1948. This example is in fabulous condition with an exceptional patina. Still solid and could be used to this day, it consists of two constraints underneath the show platform to store shoe shine items, its also has a spring loaded clasp at the top so that the products could be advertised. The tin of polish was found along with the stand and dates between 1936 - 1941.

Measures: 33.5cm tall x 41.5cm long x 18cm wide
